A. IntroductionThese Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern membership of the Boxing Business Network, a business networking community (“Network”) owned and operated by Boxing Business Network Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”, “BBN”).
B. By registering with the Network, you (“Member”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
Affiliate means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with BBN.Events means all networking meetings, conferences, workshops, seminars, socials, and online sessions organised and promoted by us.Membership means an active paid membership of the Network.Membership Period means the duration of your membership as selected at sign-up (monthly, annual or other selected term).Code of Conduct means our behavioural standards as set out in these Terms.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Membership is open to businesses, charities and high net worth individuals interested in business opportunities related to the sport of boxing and other professional sports.
2.2 We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole and absolute discretion and without any obligation to provide reasons.
2.3 Membership is specific to you and non-transferable.
3. Membership Types and Benefits
3.1 We may offer different tiers of Membership, each with different pricing and benefits. Details are published on our website or promotional materials.
3.2 Benefits may include (depending on tier):Access to specified Events (free or discounted)Access to member directories or online platformsOpportunities to speak, sponsor or exhibit at EventsEducational or promotional materials
3.3 We may amend Membership benefits at any time.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Membership fees are published at the time of purchase and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Payment must be made by our approved payment methods.
4.3 If your membership renews automatically, you authorise us to take recurring payments until cancellation.
4.4 Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of Membership without liability to us.
5. Renewals and Cancellation
5.1 Where applicable, Membership will automatically renew at the end of each Membership Period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
5.2 Memberships may be cancelled at any time with cancellation taking effect at the end of the relevant Membership Period. Membership fees are non-refundable.
5.3 Members may cancel their membership only byproviding no less than three (3) months’ written notice, during which time allmembership fees shall remain payable in full.
Notice ofcancellation must be submitted by email only to boxingbusinessnetwork@gmail.com,clearly stating the Member’s intention to cancel their membership.
6. Events and Networking
6.1 Event availability may be limited and may require advance booking on a first come, first served basis. Food and beverages are not included unless stated otherwise.
6.2 We reserve the right to:Change Event dates, venues, speakers or formatsCancel Events where necessary (including low attendance or circumstances beyond our control)
6.3 If an Event is cancelled by us, we will offer either:A transfer to a future Event, orA refund of the Event fee (if separate to the Membership Fee)
6.4 We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by you.
6.5 You are responsible for informing us of dietary or accessibility requirements in advance. We cannot guarantee all needs can be accommodated.
6.6 Where we provide a membership directory or platform:You consent to your contact information being shared with other MembersYou must ensure that all information provided is accurate and not misleading
6.7 We do not verify Member credentials and are not responsible for the conduct, advice, services, products or representations of other Members. Engagement is at your own risk.
6.8 You acknowledge that any professional athlete or media personality attending Events may be represented by BBN or an Affiliate. You shall only seek to procure their services via BBN or an Affiliate.
6.9 You are not entitled to any referral fees or commission for business opportunities or revenue generated by BBN or its Affiliates due to your Membership.
6.10 You shall not make derogatory or disparaging comments about BBN, its directors, employees, Affiliates, or other Members.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1All materials provided at Events or through Membership remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors.
7.2Materials may be used for business learning purposes only. You must not reproduce, distribute, sell or publicly share materials without prior written approval.
7.3 By speaking at or contributing content to an Event, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to record, use and share your contribution to promote BBN and its Events.
8. Data Protection
8.1 We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Details of how we collect and use personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy (hyperlink this text).
8.3 Photography or video may take place at Events. By attending, you consent to be included unless you notify us in advance.
9. Code of Conduct
9.1 Members must:Behave professionally and respectfullyNot engage in harassment, discrimination or abusive conductNot use Events primarily for aggressive selling or spam-like promotionComply with venue rules and health and safety requirements
9.2 We may remove any person from an Event or terminate Membership without refund for breach of this clause.
10. Liability
10.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, we are not liable for:Loss of profits, business, contracts, goodwill or reputationIndirect or consequential lossActions or advice of other Members or speakers
10.3 Our total liability shall not exceed the Membership fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
10.4 Attendance at Events is at your own risk. You are responsible for your own property and insurance.
10.5 You shall indemnify and hold us harmless for loss or damage incurred as a result of your acts, omissions or breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
11.1 We may suspend or terminate Membership if:You breach these TermsYour behaviour risks harm to others or our reputationFees remain unpaid
11.2 No refund shall be provided where termination is due to Member misconduct.
12. Force Majeure We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including venue closure, travel disruption, government restrictions, illness or technical failures.
13. Changes to TermsWe may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website and will be effective upon publication.
14. General
14.1 Membership does not create any partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship.
14.2 If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in force.
14.3 person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, save that any Affiliate may enforce these Terms against a Member.
14.4 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with them.
